Winter wonderland
Something crazy is happening outside... It's snowing!! It's been six weeks of back to back storms that have hampered daily commuting, provided kids with shortened school weeks, narrowed streets, erected Mt. Everest sized snow banks in parking lots and on street corners and caused many weather people to work hours of overtime on senseless storm related coverage. Bottom line? It's New England. It snows here in the winter. Some years it snows more than others. The last few years it hasn't snowed much. It can be a downer for those of us who regularly commute (I think that is pretty much all of us?). We've all had wet cold feet, or been stuck in endless hours of traffic lately, BUT if you have looked out your window at all, it is also beautiful and all the fresh snow every week even covers up the dirty brown stuff the cars and plows leave behind. Go sledding. Go skiing. Make a snowman and a snow angel. Your kids won't have school tomorrow, heck, they'll probably get out early today if they have school at all, so go have fun and enjoy it. Oh yeah, maybe we can get the kids to start shoveling too?
Keep smiling-I'm sure it'll all melt by June.
